Unneeded cards can be used for fusing, which can raise the level of other magic or tower cards. The maximum level of fusing depends on the rarity of the cards.
Artifacts can only be used for fusing and they are more effective in this than other cards.
Depending on the cards you receive, you may be able to use them in the forge.
Evolution
Evolution allows you to take two identical towers and make them into a single more powerful tower. After evolving towers, you can upgrade these towers twice during battle
