Little Alchemy 2 Tip #1: Hints.
If ever get stuck you can try using a hint!
A hint uncovers an item you can make using things you already discovered.
But it doesn’t tell you how to make it to keep things interesting and challenging.
There are two ways of getting hints:
Use research points - you can acquire research points by choosing the ‘get more research’ button in the hints menu, then choosing the amount you wish to buy and proceeding with the transaction.
Each hint costs one research point.
This method doesn’t require the internet connection if you have research points already available.
Mind that if you happen to play on more than one device, your research points will stay on the device you used to acquire them.
Watch an ad - right after the video finishes you’ll get a hint. Each video will use a charge that regenerates over time. This method requires internet connection.
To see all of the active hints you can open up the item list in the encyclopedia and choose the hints category.
Keep in mind that it will not display the items you already discovered, you can find those alongside the rest of your library.
Little Alchemy 2 Tip #2: Using The Encyclopedia.
Encyclopedia is at the heart of any research!
Here’s a few tips how to get the most out it if.
The items tab displays a list of all items you discovered in the game.
You can find here all of the final and depleted that don’t show up in the library.
You can toggle the categories to filter the content of the list. And if you found an item you want to use, you can tap the ‘add to workspace’ button on the right.
Tapping on any item icon in the encyclopedia will bring up the details page for this item.
There you can find the item description, when was the first time you discovered this item, which categories it belongs to and how it relates to other items.
The stats tab will give you various statistics about your progress.
The news tab includes all important info about the game.
Little Alchemy 2 Tip #3: Item Types.
On your journey as a Little Alchemist you’l| encounter a few different types of items.
Basic Items - they (usually) don’t come from specific combinations.
These are the items you get from the beginning or the items you unlocked by satisfying certain conditions.
Unlockable Items - as mentioned above, some items will become available only when you accomplish certain goals.
They can be unlocked by reaching progress milestones or finding enough related items.
Final Items - they don’t mix with any other items.
To make things easier for you, they will automatically disappear from the workspace.
If you ever want to access them you can always find them in the encyclopedia.
Depleted Items - they start as regular items but as you play and discover new combinations you may find all possible combinations for an item. If that happens it becomes depleted and it disappears from the workspace and from the library as it’s no longer useful to you. Of course you can always find it in the encyclopedia.
Little Alchemy 2 Tip #4: Resetting Progress & Save Synchronization Errors.
If you ever decide you want to start over by going to the settings menu and choosing the “reset progress” option.
The game will ask you to confirm your decision.
Be careful as there’s no way to restore your progress when you decide to start over!
Sometimes, especially if you play on many different devices and you happened to reset your progress on one of them, you may encounter a save synchronization error.
Don’t worry! None of your progress will be lost!
On the next load the game will ask you if you want to combine the local and cloud save or if you want to pick just one of them.
